A New York family and matrimonial law attorney, Gordon Burrows has lengthy experience working on complex litigation cases. Among his noteworthy cases was a 2015 custody dispute that was groundbreaking in its consideration of Facebook content as part of the ruling. Gordon Burrows was interviewed widely in the media on the way in which social media disclosure proved that his client’s estranged wife was often out of state leaving the husband to care for their 4-year-old son on a regular basis.
Mr. Burrows additionally holds elected responsibilities as a county legislator with Westchester County’s 15th District and has functioned as minority whip for the past six years. A past member of the Yonkers City Council, he served as a majority leader and the chairman of the Education and Municipal Operations Committees and engaged as a member of the Budget Committee.
